Commission Art Policy

Thank you for your interest in commissioning a unique piece of art from Sandy Treasures!

I'm thrilled at the prospect of creating something special for you. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable process for both of us, please read my commission policy carefully.

The Commission Process

 * Inquiry & Consultation: To begin, please contact me through [Your Preferred Contact Method, e.g., your website's contact form, with your idea. Please include details such as:

   * The subject matter you envision.

   * Desired size or dimensions.

   * Preferred materials or medium (e.g., oil painting, watercolor, mixed media).

   * Any reference photos or specific elements you'd like included.

   * Your estimated deadline, if applicable.

     We'll then discuss your vision, iron out the specifics, and agree on the final concept and pricing.

 * Agreement & Deposit: Once we've finalized the project details and pricing, a signed commission agreement (sent via email) and a 50% non-refundable deposit of the total agreed-upon price are required to secure your spot in my commission schedule and for me to begin work will commence until both the signed agreement and the deposit are received.

 * Creation Phase: I will keep you updated on the progress of your artwork. Depending on the complexity and scale of the project, completion can take approximately __ weeks from the date the deposit is received. Larger or more intricate pieces may require additional time, which will be discussed and agreed upon during our initial consultation. I will communicate any unforeseen delays promptly.

 * Artwork Review & Final Payment: Once the artwork is complete, I will send you high-resolution photographs for your review. Minor adjustments can be made at this stage. Upon your approval of the final artwork, the remaining 50% balance, plus any agreed-upon shipping costs, is due.

 * Shipping & Delivery: Once full payment is received, your artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped to your specified address. Shipping details and tracking information will be provided.

 

*ArtisticFreedom:

 While I strive to bring your vision to life, commissioning an artist means trusting my artistic interpretation and style. Small variations from the initial concept may occur as the piece evolves.

 * Revisions: Minor adjustments during the final review stage are included. Extensive changes or a complete re-do of the artwork beyond the agreed-upon scope may incur additional fees, which will be discussed with you beforehand.

 * Copyright: Sandy Treasures retains all copyright and reproduction rights to the commissioned artwork, including the right to display the artwork in portfolios, exhibitions, and for promotional purposes (unless otherwise agreed upon in writing).

 * Cancellations: If you cancel the commission after work has begun, the 50% deposit will be forfeited. If I, the artist, need to cancel the commission for unforeseen circumstances, your full deposit will be refunded.
